Sorry for the suspense.

There's... I guess a lot going on, and I've been a bit delayed, both for health reasons and for stuff going on in the house (had to clean up the place for a guest visiting for a few days, who is here now
)
But, to refresh:
Toward the beginning of this month, I put out a journal and a poll ( doom-san.deviantart.com/journa… ) asking if you all minded if I used my dA page here to announce something, and as you all are more or less the only audience I have, I wanted to know if it was alright if I asked you all for your opinion on something.
I put out an update a few weeks back ( doom-san.deviantart.com/journa… ) trying to give out at least some amount of detail, but it was still pretty vague.
Unfortunately, due to a mix of things partially involving my health being on a rather low point for the past month, I just had no energy to do much of anything in that time so it kept getting pushed back as we had to clean up the house and the little energy I had went toward helping clean to prepare for a friend of my mother staying for a few days. (Today is her last day, now)
I have a pretty large journal (or, large set of journals) that I want to put out, but I'm realizing that, with the health issues as they've been, this has just become such a massive undertaking that there is no way I would be able to put it all out in one journal. So I wanted to lay out for you all my plan for what I have in mind, and then go ahead with it when I can.
So, I wanted to sort of detail out for you what it is that I'd been trying to put together, because I realize that I'm going to need to put it out a piece at a time so I wanted to let you all know what's going on before it happens.
This is sort of a summarized version of the much more transparent journals I want to lay out with the big announcement thingy.
The journal(s) I want to put out sort of details the following:
A Little About Me
- What I'm about (game design, art, writing, etc)
Health Issues
- The health issues I've been dealing with / how it all went to hell for the last three years
(It mostly boils down to "Horrible energy due to horrible malnutrition caused by very little absorption of nutrients from food, and it prevents me from doing very much at all, because I don't get much of anything from my food D:" But there's more, of course D: )
- How I've been seeking help (but it's tough.. D: )
Path to Progress
- How I've had some hit-or-miss with schooling, but the certificate programs I've taken have kind of been "sticking" so far.
- How since I finished a Game Design certificate last year, I'd been throwing together game design concepts for the last year and change, but just struggled with picking one, so...
- I wanted to pitch my concepts to you all to kind of show everyone what I'd been up to, because...
- I'm having a hell of a time picking one, so I thought I might try choosing the one the most people liked (I like them all, so I'm biased) because...
- I wanted to take one and start developing it seriously, and the more community support for it, the better.
Help
- It sucks to ask for help, but I realize I'm not going to be able to do this alone, especially with my issues
- I'm a bit dubious to ask, because I feel like I see all too often people looking for hand-outs for things left and right to the point that it seems frivolous because we're all scared in this world, and I worry my needs aren't "important" enough to ask others to help with
(plus, I think I've gotten desensitized to it all so I sort of worry "what's the point?" because I just figure I couldn't be important enough for that)
- Though I'm thankful for my parents' support with the health stuff, I realize that they're getting older and that they can't do this forever. (plus I want to move out, but that's its own thing D: )
- Though I feel horrible for asking, I want to set up any sort of donation system for this (Patreon? I don't know) in the case that there is anyone out there (seriously, I'm not expecting it, but thank you D: ) who is willing to do some charity work in the form of donating to support an artist going through a rough time
However... As I hate "Asking" for stuff...
I wanted to offer something "in return" as well.
A Future Project Everyone (I Hope) Can Enjoy...
As mentioned earlier,
- I have collected a series of game project concepts that I put together over the past year and change. (I will also dig into my older notes to include as many of my game project concepts as possible I guess, though I think I might be able to guess which ones are the "stronger" ones )
- I want to post detailed descriptions of all of them (..but not "Too" much detail, as I just want to give like summaries of the ideas, because the details would take forever.. ^_^;;;; ) so that you all can look over them and give me some feedback on if any of these are games you might particularly like to see. (You can also vote how you like each of the concepts)
- (to facilitate this, I will also have my "main journal" act as a hub for all of the design documents, in addition to the other segments of the journals. (Basically, I want to do this "Wiki-style") )
- (The concepts will be rolled out a piece at a time since I realize there's no way in hell I am going to be able to get it all out at once)
- Once all of the projects are posted and their respective polls (you don't mind rating each individually, do you? D: I'm trying to be industrious here, but I don't want to swamp everyone) have been voted on, I want to put all of the games to a vote, and the most popular one (if there's an obvious winner, otherwise I might choose myself from the top 2-ish )
- Whichever is the most popular concept, I will start working on it seriously.
- From there, I will draft up a much more detailed project concept for the "winning" game, to show you what all I have in mind and what features I would like to add to it someday.
(...And my goal here is to be candid in showing that this is just where I want to take it, not that I promise to be able to. (I don't want to pull a "Redigit with Terraria" and promise all these things and then just say "Oops, I'm done" after making it sound like he was promising all of these amazing future features for the game D: ) But, basically it's like laying out a draft of a game and all of its future expansions, as a road map of all of the content for it so far, while being very candid about which are the "base" or "core" concepts, and which are things that I'd like to add later. (But, it wouldn't come immediately. Things may change, but the first goal is to just be able to get the base features in play. If that happens, THEN I can work on expanding the concept with the other stuff I came up with, or may come up with later ^_^; )
- After the detailed "planning" draft document is posted, I want to put it to vote again to get a sense of its "approval rating", both from the people who voted for it and to get a feel for if the people who voted for other options would get behind this project if I went ahead with it ^^
- If all goes well, (and, I hope it does ) I will start iterating on the plan to start putting together a list of what tech I will need (from a programmer's perspective) to start building this game.
- From there, I would start assembling major milestones (in terms of "things working"), and then start working out the step-by-step level of it to such a minute level of detail that I've planned the entire step-by-step process almost down to a level of what lines of code to write where.
- I intend be as transparent as anyone wants me to be with this. If you want me to post more planning stuff, I can, otherwise I'll just keep the drafts to myself and keep you updated as progress goes (and, maybe eventually get a dev blog, which might be the better idea anyway )
- If desired, I can put out playable demos from even the earliest stages, but I assume people are more interested in the "meatier" content XD;
(Still, it could be interesting to have a "living blog" of how the game evolved from early development to some form of public playable release XD; )
Basically, though? While I feel badly for asking for help with medical stuff, I think maybe it's a "better trade" to say instead ask for support getting a game project off of the ground? (knowing that it's also supporting medical stuff D: )
I also want to set this up now since with seeing the success of (admittedly ero) games like Breeding Season on Patreon, it gave me hope that I might be able to find a "niche" for myself in producing my stuff, so I wanted to lay out the infrastructure for it now in case it takes off later.
(not expecting much/anything now really, but I hope my concepts might give you some confidence in me as a creator/designer ^_^; )
My goal is to be as transparent as possible about what all I'm doing because I want to instill as much confidence as possible in my ability to actually do this.
(I realize I'm absolute dreck at a lot of things that "normal" people can do, but I think it's best I accept and embrace the things that I CAN do that "normal" people can't D: (Thank you, Mr. Career Counselor That Told Me That! owo''' (it's partially his advice that inspired me to put this plan together >3>; ) ) )
I hope this doesn't all seem like too much, but a friend told me I should post this "preview / overview" journal now to get some feedback on if this plan sounds good or if I should rethink it a bit XD;</i>

This isn't at all "goodbye" but rather "a new beginning"! ^_^

This is something that has been on my mind for a while now.
I originally created this account because I had a previous DA account that really wasn't known for fetish content at all, and as my art had shifted to become more boob-oriented, I knew it would be bad to keep posting there. (especially since someone I knew there pretty much threatened to disown me as a friend if she ever caught me drawing porn)
In time, my tastes in art evolved into more of a belly direction, and as I discovered pregnancy content (which turned out to be an even bigger kink for me than boob stuff is) I once again feared rejection and created another account (:devBel

It means a lot to me, and I find it especially humbling how people can think of me when I know I haven't been very active the past few years because of health issues and whatnot.
And an extra thank you for those who drew some gift art for me this year. That was especially unexpected!!! oAo
My birthday wasn't super eventful. The power went out around 7am the morning before, and my birthday was basically Day 2 of a big power outage after the rain hit the big snow storm we had, and then the wind came in to collectively knock off like every branch in this entire region of the country that had been

I didnt read much because I just woke up from a bad sleep but I can conjest a lot from what I read. I didnt see many journals from you because idk what is up with da. But I want to help but unable to do so wih money since I have yet to obtain plastic. I will though help with words.
