This was more or less my first real attempt at screentones, so I really don't know what I'm doing yet ^^;

I love your toning style though, (this piece pretty sad in comparison, I admit) I'd love to learn to do them like you do!

How do you go about the toning process?

I usually just go about it like coloring-- just in black and white. I use lots of layers and erase a lot. >.<;; I'm not really sure how to explain in more detail.
